Services

We provide tree removal, tree trimming, tree pruning, stump grinding and removal, emergency tree service, lot clearing and related arborist services in Chicago, Illinois and surrounding areas. The exact scope of any project is defined in the written estimate we provide before work begins.

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are free and based on the information available at the time of the on-site assessment. Prices may change if the actual conditions differ from what was visible or described, or if additional work is requested. Any change in scope will be discussed with you before we proceed. Unless stated otherwise, estimates are valid for 30 days.

Scheduling and Cancellation

We schedule work based on weather, crew availability and safety considerations. Dates may shift due to rain, snow, high winds or other conditions that make the work unsafe. Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel, and we will do the same for you. Emergency work is prioritized.

Payment

  • Payment terms are stated on your estimate or invoice.
  • Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of the work.
  • We may require a deposit for large or specialized projects.
  • Late or unpaid balances may be subject to collection and related costs.

Permits and Property Requirements

Some tree removals require a permit or approval, particularly for parkway or protected trees. Where required, you are responsible for obtaining and paying for any permit or approval unless we agree otherwise in writing. You are also responsible for disclosing known hazards such as underground utilities, septic systems, irrigation lines or invisible fencing. We will assist by sharing information about local rules during your estimate.

Property, Utilities and Site Conditions

Tree work involves heavy equipment, falling wood and controlled rigging. While we take great care and carry insurance, you acknowledge that removed wood, chips, equipment and foot traffic may temporarily disturb lawns, landscaping, driveways or other surfaces. We will make reasonable efforts to protect your property and to clean up the site when the work is complete.

Insurance and Liability

We are licensed and insured. We carry general liability coverage for the work we perform. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific work giving rise to the claim, to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, underground utilities that were not disclosed, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather during the job.

Warranty

We perform our services in a professional, workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Trees are living organisms, and outcomes such as regrowth, healing, disease progression or the survival of a preserved tree cannot be guaranteed. Our workmanship is warranted for 30 days from completion; please report any concern promptly so we can address it.
